Handwound P90 Pickups   Handwound P90 Pickups
The dog that bites

Named after a comment I overheard whilst climbing off the train at Manchester Piccadilly station, as a group of guys climbed on, eager to get back home.

My Telecaster take on a Les Paul Junior. I've always liked the simplicity of an LP Junior, the idea of a simple P90 in the bridge and wanted to fuse this with the Fender Esquire style of guitar. The Hot P90 gives a fatter tone than the regular Telecaster bridge, the bite and snarl warmed up through the mahogany wood.

Maple neck with rosewood fingerboard, one-piece reclaimed mahogany body, custom cut stamped steel televaster bridge, glove fit P90 rout and custom scratchplate and a single Creamery Hot P90 pickup wired to my twist on the original Fender electronics with a .0047uf cap where the resistor should sit - this is essentially the same as the 'Eldred Mod' giving the out-of-phase or cocked-wah sound in the front position - a guitar to be played loud.
