Custom Handwound Jaguar Replacement Pickups with steel claw
Here are my modern Vintage, Modern & Custom Design Jaguar replacement pickups. From my Classic '62 & Classic '64 Jaguar Pickup sets to more custom, modern & hotter versions, all my replacement Jaguar pickups are handwound here in my workshop before being wax potted in a measured combination of paraffin & beeswax.
NOTE: Unlike other makers of replacement Jaguar Pickups, my pickup sets can be purchased complete with steel ferrous claws just like the originals. The Jaguar Pickup claw was designed to help cancel out hum while increasing the magnetic field around the pickup - increasing output.

Based on the original Jaguar specs of the early 60s, I've created these Jaguar style pickups as a direct replacement for the modern reissues. Vintage tones with great attack & bite in the bridge with a more spankier voice in the neck.
Available in white or aged white covers and with or without the ferrous chrome-plated metal claws attached and wax potted to stop microphonic feedback. The Jaguar neck pickup can be reverse wound, reverse polarity RW/RP to create a hum canceling effect in th emiddle position. Comes with Vintage style cloth covered lead wires.

Inspired by the alternative music scene of the mid-to-late '80s this is my overwound take on the vintage Jaguar pickup. The flat Alnico 2 polepieces are slightly warmer sounding than Alnico 5 but with the taller, stronger magnets, I've managed to keep much of the traditional bright tone and mix it with an aggressive, biting output, great for really driving an amp or running effects.
The Alt '88 range has been a real labour of love and these pickups and have gone through numerous changes to get them right. A great Jaguar rhythm or lead pickup if you want more bite and a modern aggressive attack. The Alt '88 Jaguar Neck can also be RW/RP if required.
